Vegan Rice Crispy Treats
Anna and I spent all Saturday baking holiday treats. We got creative and made a few new recipes for our inventory
Today’s recipe is a take on rice crispy squares minus the sugar and chemical filled marshmallows and added coconut and all natural peanut butter.
- 6 cups of brown rice puffs
- 1 cup of all natural peanut butter
- 4 tablespoons of vanilla
- 1 cup of chocolate chip
- 1 cup of agave
- 1/4 salt
1). In a sauce pan add the peanut butter, vanilla, agave and salt. Let mixture heat on low till the mixture is even and smooth.
2). Add in the chocolate chips and rice puffs slowly into the mixture and stir. Once all ingredients are combined together spread out into a pan and push down.
3). Put in the fridge for at least an hour to allow squares to firm up.
